New 2103TV Videos
New 21:03TV videos – can you say woohoo? In the first video, they give you a peek at their dance routine to their “In the Middle” remix. With the third video Evin takes you into the studio as he pens a song, and introduces you to Travis Malloy and Streets McKinley. Now, in second video, Jorel’s just playing around and means no harm. one – Tour Rehearsal (In the Middle Remix) Posted by admin · January 12th, 2012 · Add Feedback
3 New Photos
One of these is 3 years old, dating back to when 21:03 performed at the 2009 Stellar Awards, and the newer ones are from Sunday’s Bobby Jones Gospel episode. You gotta love the colorfulness of their pants! I’m not sure where they officially came from but they’re on 21:03′s Facebook page. If you haven’t done so, go “Like” it! one – 2009 Stellar Awards Posted by admin · January 10th, 2012 · Add Feedback
The Gospel According to Torrence
No, not that Torrence, but Torrence Glenn from over at BET.com. At the end of 2011, he gave his review of the year’s gospel albums and whether they should get a yes (thumbs up), no (thumbs down), or a maybe (shrug). Here’s his take on 21:03′s Evolved:
Not going to lie, I struggled between “yes” and “maybe” with this one because I did not love every song. It’s one of those things where the songs I didn’t like, I really didn’t like but the ones I did like, I LOVED!!!!!!!!! And I realized that the songs I loved outweighed the ones I didn’t care for by A LOT! So I’m going to list each one so you know what made me love this CD. What I also loved about this CD was that although it was clear PAJAM was still at the forefront of production, they allowed Torrence (no relation, lol), Evan and Jorel to actually sing the songs, BACKGROUND VOCALS INCLUDED!! Sometimes J. Moss’ signature bgv’s (although great) can overshadow the artist and make you kind of mentally check out from a song when it’s not his. Well on this CD, these dudes are singing and I’m frankly upset more of you didn’t pick this up but you still have time. (I sound like a preacher… ha!) Of course listen to the whole CD and come to your own conclusions but definitely listen out for “Cold World,” “STILL HERE,” “In Your Presence,” “Incredible,” “All You Need,” and “Loving You.” Sidebar, I do also take issue with this album cover. It’s clear, these young men have evolved from boys to men so to not show that is a little wrong to me, but maybe it’s just me. Perhaps I’m just traditional but you got to show me who I’m buying. Took me back to that “couch album cover” that burned me up a few years ago. Ok, I’ve spent to much time on this…
So what’s his answer: yes, no, or maybe? Since you asked, the answer is “yes”! Credit/Link: 2011 – Yes, No, Maybe? Part 2 Posted by admin · January 9th, 2012 · Add Feedback
Backstage with BET’s Torrence Glenn
Bobby Jones Gospel: Backstage w/Torrence Episode 14 21:03 gave an interview to BET’s Torrence Glenn before performing “Still Here” and “Riverside” this morning on Bobby Jones Gospel (might need to have Adobe flash player to watch it). I woke up a whole hour and a half hour early to catch them! Hopefully some pictures will surface soon! Sidebar: Good luck to my LSU Tigers tomorrow, as they play for the BCS National Championship! #GeauxTigers! Posted by admin · January 8th, 2012 · Add Feedback
