She was like, looking at me with those eyes
Looking right through me
Knew every page of me
Everything from the migraine I had
To the very last situation bad
But that’s momma, she can do that
She has powers, intuition (it’s true)
I could never get anything past her if I wanted to
I told her I was dealing with this thing
I told her I was dealing with some pain
But she’s not one of those mothers like, “tell me this, tell me that”
She said, “Don’t you believe in God? Then there’s no problem that’s hard”
Baby momma can’t help you through it
Talk to our Father, tell Him to do it

Seems like my clock is broken
Even then it’s right twice a day
Being in the holding pattern
Fighting with emotions, what’s the matter
You are my source, my strength, my sword, my shield
Lord the miracle that I need is right now

He was like, blowing up my cell phone
Back-to-back, 911 its on
Picked it up and I said what’s going on
And a real strong voice said come home
But that’s daddy, he and momma, they been talking
So he called me, and now I’m double-teamed on a 3-way call
Now I’m gonna lose
I told him I was dealing with some hurt
The same thing I told momma earlier
But they’re not the kind of parents that pry and try hell and high
They said don’t you believe in God
Then there’s no problem too hard
Mom and dad can’t help you through it
Talk to your Father, tell him to do it

Everyday seems harder and harder, longer and longer
But I’m a stand on your promise Father

I know that I am Your baby
But lately my waiting
Is getting the best of me and I need you right now

Not trying to rush You Jesus
Not trying to hurry You along
But it seems like I’ve been waiting forever
